My fly fishing lessons are designed for all skill levels, focusing on casting mechanics, line control, and presentation. Beginners typically start with at least two, one-hour land-based lessons before moving to the water. Many anglers will be the most prepared to fly fish after three sessions. Short, structured lessons allow for steady progress, rather than trying to cram and absorb too much within a single session. This ensures that you are confident and prepared when you step onto the boat.

Our DIY Beach Fishing Guide trips are perfect for anglers who want expert guidance without a full charter commitment. This is a great way to receive expert, hands-on guidance while still enjoying the freedom of fishing at your own pace. Your guide will walk with you up and down the beach, helping you read the water, spot productive areas, and adjust your setup based on changing conditions. You'll also wade into the shallow grass flats where opportunities for sight fishing and targeting cruising fish are at their best. Along the way, we'll coach you on casting techniques, bait selection, and strategies for different species. After the session, you'll be equipped with the knowledge and confidence to keep fishing on your own — no boat needed, just you, your gear, and the water.
